I recognize that not everyone is ready to jump right back into fundraising or, frankly, fundraising emails. (Even I don’t like fundraising emails, and I write a lot of them!)
But my team is telling me that we have a can’t-miss deadline tonight. The final FEC deadline of the year. That’s a big one. It’ll set the tone going into the 2025-2026 election cycle.
You might be feeling discouraged and wondering what good your money can do, so let me tell you.
This past cycle, MVP raised more money from more contributors than ever before and we were able to support more candidates, state parties, and Democratic organizations than we had ever supported in the past. Our giving rate was double the giving rate of other Democratic organizations and PACs.
That means your money went even further with us.
Many of our contributions went toward investing in ground-game operations in key battlegrounds and they helped us bring home important wins, including the NY-19 House race and the Senate races in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin.
Those investments don’t end with this cycle. We’re building for the future, and we’re going to see those investments pay out in elections to come, too.
We all know we have a tough fight ahead. From Trump’s insane cabinet picks to Inauguration Day, we’re going to have plenty of reminders of why our work is so important and why we need to keep at it.
