Coach Walz said it clearly at the convention: “When somebody takes the time to draw up a playbook, they’re going to use it.”
Project 2025 isn’t just weird. It’s an existential threat to our democracy. Here are just a few of the things it would do:
- Give the president more control over the Justice Department
- Threaten access to IVF
- Use the military to break up protests
- Reverse FDA approval of abortion medication
- Ditch efforts to fight climate change and gut the NOAA
- Give tax breaks for the rich and raise taxes on the middle class
- Make cuts to Medicare
The list from the 900-page document goes on and on. What I left out — like gutting union protections — is an absolute nightmare.
It’s hard to believe what our beloved country could become if we lose this election.
We are now funding ground-game operations in battleground states and have maxed out to every Senate race where we can possibly win — not to mention a slew of House races and state parties. Please, please help us elect Vice President Kamala Harris to the White House, keep the Senate, and flip the House.
