That Attitude of Gratitude

The holidays are a time to be grateful for all the good things in life. All of us at Midwest Values PAC are indebted to those of you who gave so that MVP could support so many Democrats and progressive independents. Some of our candidates won and some lost. And, of course, the end results in Congress and the White House were not what we hoped for.

On top of that, the endless string of disturbing cabinet nominations and appointments are not something we are grateful for. And perhaps not something to focus on this holiday season. But this is a time when we can rest and regroup so we can attend to the fight in the new year.

We hope you have a happy holiday season with friends and family, and we’ll get on your case come January!

P.S. The upcoming holidays may be the first large family gatherings since the election, and maybe a sibling or uncle or in-law doesn’t share your political point of view. This might be a good time to talk about everything you have in common. Like your grandfather who escaped persecution from the Czar. Or maybe something less Jewish than me.

P.P.S. With Trump back in the White House, it’s going to get really real, really fast. If you’re ready to jump back in right now and want to give a few bucks, I’m not going to stop you.
