Yesterday the prosecution and defense gave their opening arguments in what appears to be the only case against Trump that will go to trial before the election.
I didn’t hear either of the arguments, but I’m still convinced. Guilty!
You see, their arguments have to satisfy a whole bunch of legal niceties. But my argument against Trump getting a second term is pretty simple.
The man is a malignant narcissist and habitual liar. He loves Putin and will sell out Ukraine. He will pull out of NATO and weaken our alliances with European democracies. He told his billionaire donors that he will cut their taxes. He’s corrupt and will appoint corrupt cronies. He’s pitting Americans against Americans.
I could keep on listing reasons, but I want to hear more about what’s going on with the second day of the trial. So, you’ll have to take my word for it. We must stop Trump from getting a second term. That’s why we at Midwest Values PAC are supporting Democrats up and down the ticket.
