When I was a kid and it was time for me and my brother Joe to go to bed, my dad would tell us stories about a character named Stupid Daddy.
Stupid Daddy meant well, but he was… well, stupid. He did the dumbest stuff in the world and every time we heard about Stupid Daddy, Joe and I would laugh until we were too tired to laugh anymore.
All you have to do is contribute $5 or more to secure your spot. All proceeds go toward Dad’s Midwest Values PAC, which helps elect Democrats and supports progressive causes. They’ve given more than $3 million dollars to 235 candidates and 225 organizations since 2006!
And it won’t just be my dad you’ll see at the Zoom party — his good friend Dana Carvey will be there, too! They’ll even be taking questions and you can submit yours after you RSVP.
I promise — you won’t want to miss it. Contribute here to lock in your spot on the guest list.
Thank you!

P.S. My dad told me he always includes a P.S. in these as an excuse to squeeze in another ask for contributions. So here we go: Chip in $5 (or more!) to join us for Dad’s 72nd Zoom birthday party on Thursday! May 18th! 8 p.m. EST! On Zoom!
P.P.S. Here’s a picture of me as a kid, exhibiting the energy I plan on bringing to my dad’s birthday this year:
