I’ve been abiding by a strict regimen of vigorous cardiovascular activity and special high-fiber shakes, but while I’ve never been healthier, I’m going to need you guys to do your part, too, if we’re going to get rid of these Republicans this November.

Tim Walz, a high-school geography teacher from Mankato, Minnesota and a 24-year veteran of the Army National Guard who’s running for Congress in Minnesota’s 1st district against a particularly unimpressive member of Newt Gingrich’s class of 1994.

Jon Tester, a farmer from Big Sandy, Montana and an accomplished state senator who’s running for United State Senate to be a voice for regular folks – and to retire the incredibly corrupt Conrad Burns.

Claire McCaskill, the tenacious Missouri state auditor, who’s running for United States Senate in Missouri on a platform of accountability, common sense, and strong leadership on issues like health care, energy, and national security.
